“AI” should be doing our boring work, not the fun stuff
I’ll give “AI” credit: it’s bloody good at boring menial stuff I can’t be arsed with. That’s what it should do: save time wasted on stuff that grinds you down, so you’ve got more energy for the stuff you actually like doing.
I have no interest in the “creative” stuff it does— well, maybe the image generators can help me with a bit of creative block sometimes.
The thing is, surely everyone wants to do less boring, menial shit. Why are the personality voids that are pushing it so hell bent on taking what makes us actually human away with “AI”?
If they came forward with “you’ll never have to process an expense again” or “our ‘AI’ will manage your inbox for you”, I’d sign right up for that shit.
