  • I’m increasingly worried about people’s brains and the clear effects of everyone having their own radicalising algorithms that consume most of their free time https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/ckz7zyn1lwypo.

  • I run @piccalil.li and having publications like CSS-Tricks around is really important. We all help and challenge each other and the result is a better ecosystem for everyone else.

    That's the whole point!

I really hope this situation gets resolved, or CSS-Tricks gets a new owner that cares.

  • Something I’ve been thinking about a lot, articulated very well by @lukeoneil47.bsky.social

    www.welcometohellworld.com/i-do-not-bel...

Engineer types sometimes have trouble with other people and overestimate their own intelligence when it comes to things beyond their jobs. And here in the US we fluff our engineers’ egos so that they will keep producing consumer products, military dominance, surplus value etc. It gets easy for them to believe their own hype.

  • I just watched the Zelda 40th anniversary direct and my god, the OoT remake looks so good.

The art style might well be my favourite. There’s so much depth and texture! I think this might well end up being my favourite 🤩

Link pulling the master sword from the ground in the remake. There’s loads of texture, glow and light work
