  • apt shot from my talk at @heypresents.com in relation to Figma's next wave of sludge

    A huge cinema screen with dim lights where I'm on stage, behind a podium. The slide reads "There's a focus on the tools, not the application". Tools is highlighted in yellow and application has a strikethrough. The captions read "…it's a hangover from print design where everything is finalized in design tools and then handed off to the printers. And unless you mess up the working of the assets, which I have done many times, thank you, they arrive looking how you expected them to look in your own design file…"
