  • It's pizza season and I've made adjustments to the dough calculator, with a new 20% bread flour mix. https://cdpn.io/pen/debug/xxojbGr/abe0eb91b1830c758af0b169f5abafd2.

This recipe will serve you very well if you're making neapolitan style pizza.

  • From the archives: Temporal is the Date system we always wanted in JavaScript. It's extremely close to being available so Mat Marquis thought it would be a good idea to explain exactly what is better about this new JavaScript date system.

  • Really the only thing to do now is to make sure Burnham loses this by-election. Labour need to be shown that we’re not having it anymore.

  • From the archives: Progressive enhancement hasn’t caught on nearly as much as it should. It’s likely related to folks not being able to envision it working in their real world contexts. This post attempts to alleviate that and reignite the conversation.

  • a reminder that icon fonts are useless when they fail

The google meet join meeting controls. There's a couple of icon fonts missing and instead, text like "pen_spark" is visible. On one of the buttons, that replacement text overflows and overlays actual text too, turning it into the biggest pile of shit UI
