The Daunting Prospect Of Writing Again
Getting the blog running how I like it has definitely got me writing more again. There was something about mucking around with markdown files and builds that created an invisible barrier that’s thankfully gone now.
I’m also completely over the very large wave of apathy that arrived after I’d finished Learn CSS last year. I just couldn’t bear the idea of writing anything related to design or tech after that. Thankfully, I’m over that (19 months later lmao) and I’m ready to start writing tutorials and stuff again.
The problem I have now is what the hell do I even write about? I think I got a bit bored of writing about CSS—even though the language and its capabilities have exploded over the last year or so. I also used to just come up with ideas really quickly over on Piccalilli and I’m getting pretty frustrated with myself that I can’t seem to do that now.
It would be helpful if you have read my stuff in the past, letting me know what you found really useful. It’d also be helpful if you want to learn something and you haven’t found anything that clicks for you yet. Maybe my style could help!
For now, I’m going to pick some low hanging fruit and scour through the client work I’ve done over the last year or so. Maybe I can pick something from there. The Modern Reset could also do with an update…Regardless, keep your eyes peeled 👀
