  • From the archives: Scott Riley tested free and open source design tools out when researching his course, Mindful Design. They actually worked out better than Figma ever could, as he explains in this article with loads of options for you.

  • What an event @heypresents.com has been for the last 10 years. Yesterday’s final one was really special.

There’s no event like it and there probably never will be. I’m just so thankful I got to experience and somehow manage to speak twice there.

Take a bow @joshnesbitt.dev and team.

  • From the archives: Is CSS nesting an exciting new feature or a potential disaster waiting to happen? I note down my worries and prior experience with one of it predecessors: Sass nesting, along with some gotchas native CSS brings with it.

  • 🫩

Following up Andy - curious how you’re currently structuring outbound for clients, or planning to?

Most agencies we see either depend heavily on manual outreach or run generic automation that underperforms.

We sit in the middle - structured, AI-driven outreach that’s consistent enough to productise, but still personalised enough to actually drive replies.

Let me know if it’s worth a look.

Best,

PS If this isn't relevant, just reply "pineapple" and I'll close the loop

  • I saw someone saying that AI is giving incompetent people the experience of being competent and damn, that’s exceptionally accurate.

    Competence cosplaying.
